SOMERVILLE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — While his appearance may not be well known, his voice certainly has earned recognition. Billy West, a voice actor for shows like The Ren & Stimpy Show and Futurama, received the Boston Comedy's Festival's Lifetime Achievement Award at the Somerville Theater Saturday night.

West, who grew up in Roslindale, spoke with WBZ's James Rojas about the award. "It feels great- I've never gotten an award for anything, I've been in animation for 30 years and commercials, but I've never been nominated for an Emmy." Click here for more.
