Santa Anita Park Suspends Races Following String Of Horse Deaths

The veterinarian who euthanized the latest filly at Santa Anita Park says he’s supports suspending the races. Dr. Jeff Blea says they now have the opportunity to figure out what’s been leading to such catastrophic injuries, resulting in the deaths of 21 horses since December 26.
